Cheme Car
For more information on the Cheme Car competition, click here!
The ChemE car competition will happen on Friday, April 29th. The goal of this competition is to build a car that runs on a chemical reaction (pressure, electrochemical cell, hydrogen cell based, etc.). The car will then be subjected to variables such as a certain distance, speed, or extra weight against other teams and their cars to determine a winner!
Cheme Jeopardy
Cheme Jeopardy competition will be held on Saturday, April 30th. Just like the real trivia game on TV, students will compete by testing their knowledge by answering undergraduate chemical engineering questions. The winner of the Regional Conference automatically qualifies for the AIChE national conference!
Technical Paper Competition
If you are participating in the paper competition, please review the technical paper rules here!
The technical paper competition will happen on Saturday, April 30th. Students will present a technical paper based on research they have completed during their undergraduate degree on a chemical engineering related topic. They will be competing against other students and judged by a panel.
Poster Competition
If you are participating in the poster competition, please view the FAQ and rules here!
The poster competition will happen on Saturday, April 30th. Students will present a visually appealing poster that includes information on a research project they have completed during their undergraduate career on a chemical engineering related topic. They will be competing against other students and judged by a panel.

Networking
Career Fair
The career fair will happen on Saturday, April 30th. This career fair is a great opportunity for students to learn about different employers, network with companies, and build their professional skills. Students will be able to submit their resume to companies, discuss companies' available internship and full-time roles with recruiters, and expand their network.
Social Mixers
Texas AIChe will be hosting two social mixers during the conference. Students will have the opportunity to converse with other students, faculty, and corporate sponsors in a more informal manner to meet new people and learn more about the broader chemical engineering community.
On Friday, the conference will host a student networking night. On Saturday, the conference will be hosting a student mixer in downtown Austin at Recess Arcade Bar.
